Wenban-Smith, a well established family firm have been trading as timber merchants from their Worthing headquarters site since 1876.

That amount of time spent in support of our trade suggests that we understand the needs of our market. And when it comes to knowing about wood, that means not only a thorough knowledge of the raw material, well stored & seasoned and then delivered fast, ready for installation on time... but also the expert manufacture of doors, window frames, worktops etc.

Our name has been built on the supply of prepared timber, timber products, mouldings and sawn carcassing. The Wenban-Smith team has, in its time, been asked to supply all of the expected items within the timber related building field and some of the 'unexpected'.
